M-TAG One Network: Comprehensive QA & Testing Framework

Brief and project description

We partnered with One Network Pvt. Ltd. to perform a complete testing cycle for the M-TAG One Network application, ensuring stability, scalability, and security across iOS and Android platforms.

This project went beyond functional validation; it became a full-spectrum Quality Assurance (QA) initiative covering functional testing, performance testing, usability validation, API verification, and security resilience checks.   • End-to-end functional validation of the M-TAG app on iOS & Android

Process

Our QA team structured the testing into multiple layers:

  1. Exploratory & Functional Testing
    Verified all major flows: Signup, Sign-in, Homepage, My M-TAG, Recharge, Toll History, Toll Calculator, Feedback, Helpline, Profile, and Sign-out.
    Each scenario was validated with both positive and negative test cases, ensuring proper input validation, OTP verification, and real-time syncing of vehicle and transaction data.
  2. API & Backend Verification
    Conducted endpoint validation across core services such as loginUser_new, getMtagDetailByID, rechargeMtag, getTrans_Details, and NotificationService.
    Ensured that API response times met SLAs and integrated smoothly with the app’s UI flows.
  3. Performance & Load Testing
    Simulated high-volume traffic with up to 1000 concurrent API calls, measuring system responsiveness under stress. The application successfully handled normal thresholds, and backend resilience via Cloudflare confirmed protection against DDoS attempts.
  4. Interruption & Usability Testing
    Validated user experience during calls, notifications, and background interruptions. The application maintained transactional integrity, ensuring no data loss during sensitive flows (e.g., Recharge & Transaction History).
  5. Bug Tracking & Validation
    Identified and documented critical, major, and minor defects across iOS and Android. These included transaction history filter issues, OTP validation gaps, crashes on notification screens, and UI inconsistencies across devices.
    Every issue was logged, tracked, and retested post-fix, ensuring quality compliance before release.
